PRESS RELEASE – September 22, 2016

In a new venture with the NFHS Network, Fluco TV will be live streaming all home Fluco Football games and a variety of other sporting events throughout the 2016-17 school year. All broadcasts are produced by students at Fluvanna County High School who have learned broadcasting techniques through their enrollment in Television Production courses.

Community members, students, and overseas relatives can access the schedule of sporting events to be live streamed by going to www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/fluvanna-county-high-school-palmyra-va or by going to the NFHS website and typing in Fluvanna County High School.

Live Stream events can be viewed for a nominal fee by going to the scheduled event, creating an account and signing-in. The September 23 football game, featuring the Flucos taking on the Black Knights of Charlottesville will be broadcast free of charge.

All events that have been live streamed (and special features) will be posted on the website for post-game viewing. There is no cost for viewing these.

Events will be added to the site as the year progresses.

It is the hope of Fluco TV and Fluco Athletics to expand the availability of sporting events to our local community at to those who live out of town.

For more information about this project contact, Mr. Scott Morris, FCHS Athletic Director at 434-589-3666 or scmorris@apps.fluco.org.
