At the March meeting of the Virginia Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (VIAAA), Fluvanna County High School Athletic Director, Scott Morris was named the 3A/4A Virginia Athletic Administrator of the Year. This is the second time Fluvanna has received the award with Phil Browning earning the honor in 1984.
Mr. Morris has served as the Athletic Director for Fluvanna County High School since 2004. During his tenure, Mr. Morris has helped to open the facilities at the New Fluvanna County High School and oversaw the implementation of several new programs including girls lacrosse, boys lacrosse, and forensics.
“Mr. Morris has been instrumental in Fluvanna County High School staying on course and continuing to have an efficient athletic program,” stated Mr. James Barlow, Principal of FCHS.
