[CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, March 27th 2018] — SHINE Systems is excited to announce the winner of the second annual SHINE Systems University Scholarship.

 
Rachel Sherman, a high school senior at Fluvanna High School and the daughter of employee Niki Sherman, was awarded the 2018-2019 scholarship. She will receive $10,000 and will attend Longwood College in the Fall pursuing an English major and creative writing minor degree.

The annual scholarship is open to the dependent children of SHINE Systems employees. Applicants must be a high school senior enrolling, or an undergraduate currently enrolled or transferring into, an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Recipients are assessed to
exhibit traits of high personal character and leadership by the selection committee.
