PRESS RELEASE – April 11, 2022
On April 1, 2022, the Flying Flucos traveled to Reston, VA to participate in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference. While there, they participated in informational workshops and competed against students from all over Virginia.
The Flucos earned the following awards:
The entire chapter won 1st place in Project ASK
The entire chapter won 1st place in Community Service Project
Rebekah Williams – 3rd place in Client Service
Nate Krammes – 5th place in Sales Presentation
Jenna Glowatch – was awarded an internship with the event planning company and helped run the conference
Special thanks to the Fluvanna County High School business teachers who worked to prepare these students and make this trip possible, Christine Kreitzman, Williane Charles, and Tonya Vowels.
