Fluvanna Rotary and the Deborah Altschull Endowment for the Youth have again partnered to support our youngest FLUCOS through “Operation Warm”!

On September 20th members of the Fluvanna Rotary Club delivered 168 winter coats to Central and Carysbrook Elementary Schools. This represented an incredible  investment in our schools and our student families. A child without a warm winter coat is at a significant disadvantage even before walking through the doors of the school.

The Club’s sister project – “Shoes for Success” – was completed in August. These two projects wrap up an important phase of the Club’s mission to support Fluvanna students who are economically disadvantaged.
