The 2024-2025 Back-To-School Annual Update Form is now available for existing FCPS students and is due August 13, 2024. Please complete and submit a form for each of your students. For new students, use the New Student Registration instructions below.

Please note the instructions for registering your 2024-2025 Kindergartener are listed in the next section. This section is for registering 1st-12th grade students NEW to FCPS for the 2024-2025 school year only. 

2024-2025 New Student Registration

• A valid parent/guardian email address is required to register online.  If you do not currently have an email address, you can create one for free at Google .

• After submission please schedule an appointment to meet with your school’s registrar to complete the registration process. The following documentation must be provided:

  1. Original birth certificate must be brought to school

  2. Two (2) proofs of residency such as a utility bill, tax bill, driver’s license, lease, vehicle registration

  3. Recent physical and immunization records

Please note that these instructions are only for registering your 2024-2025 Kindergartener. Your child must be age 5 by September 30th, 2024 to be eligible for enrollment in the 2024-2025 school year. 

Parents are encouraged to complete the registration online and provide the supporting documents to the school. Kindergarten Registration Requirements:

2. After submission please schedule an appointment to meet with Central Elementary registrar Abigail Harlow to complete the registration process and to schedule your child’s kindergarten screening. The following documentation must be provided:

   • Original birth certificate must be brought to school

     • A copy or scan of the original birth certificate cannot be accepted.

   • Two (2) proofs of residency such as a utility bill, tax bill, driver’s license, lease, vehicle registration

   • Virginia School Entrance Health Form which includes your child’s physical and immunization records. The Physical documentation must be dated August 1, 2024 or later

3. Register Online

   • A New Student Registration form must be submitted for each student in your family.

Please note that these instructions are for a new Pre-Kindergarten student registering for the 2024-2025 school year.

Children must be 4 years old by Sept. 30, 2024 to be eligible for Pre-K screening. The program provides early intervention through a high quality 4 year old program that promotes social, emotional, and academic development. Space is limited for the 2024-2025 school year and the priority application deadline is April 1, 2024.
