FCHS Named WISE Blue Star School for Excellence in Financial Literacy!
Congratulations to FCHS, Gary Greenwood and Tonya Vowels for again being named a W.I.S.E. Blue Star School!
To earn this coveted award, a school must have achieved an 80% passing rate on our Financial Literacy Certification Test and have either a majority of students on a given grade level take the Test or achieve a minimum average score of 85%.
We are truly proud of your students’ accomplishments. We are equally proud of you and your teachers who helped them become Certified Financially Literate™. Through your personal finance instruction, you have given them vital knowledge about personal finance. You have also provided them with the tools they need to become financially capable young adults. Your commitment and dedication are admirable and we appreciate you!
Free Health Clinic This Coming April!
FLUCOS – please help spread the word to those who would benefit from this absolutely free dental, vision, and medical health clinic. It will be held April 13 and 14 in Fishersville – first come, first served.
FLUCOS Raise 2,237 Cans of Food to Donate to the Community!
Congratulations to Central Elementary and FCHS on raising 2,237 cans of food to be donated, along with free turkeys and warm winter coats for children!

FCHS One Act Play 2nd in District Festival!
Congratulations to Fluvanna’s cast of Midsummer Night’s Dream, placing 2nd at Jefferson District’s Theatre Festival! And congratulations to senior, Allison Monfalcone and sophomore, Madison Gifford, both receiving “Best Actor” awards! The entire cast and crew were amazing! Fluvanna advances to Regionals, to be held at Heritage High School, Nov 18!
