Honoring an Inspiring FLUCO Teacher, Mr. DeMorro!

During this year’s Opening Convocation, all staff gathered to celebrate the start of the year. Prior to the ceremony, several students were on stage rehearsing the choral performance they would offer during the event. the guest speaker, Scott Habeeb, asked the students to name a teacher who had been influential during their younger school careers. During his speech he had planned to give a book away to the teacher and he asked the students to help identify someone who made an transformative difference.

We have many, many teachers who fit this description, making a profound difference in the lives of students as I type this. I’m honored to celebrate the students’ choice that day, Mr. John DeMorro, FMS Science Teacher!
